This notice explains how Fizulmia ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, apps and services (the "Services"). It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before using optional cookies.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files a website places on your browser or device. They help recognize your device, remember preferences, keep you signed in, secure accounts and show how the site is used. Similar technologies include browser local storage, pixels, scripts, device identifiers, log files and app SDKs. We call these "Tracking Technologies."

2. Types of technologies we may use

Strictly necessary. Needed for the Services to work: signing in, keeping your session, security, fraud prevention and delivering features you ask for. Turning these off may stop parts of Fizulmia from working.

Functional. Remember your choices, such as your language, dietary and cuisine preferences, serving sizes and display settings. For example, your language choice is saved on your device.

Analytics and performance. Help us understand pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, errors and performance, so we can fix problems and improve Fizulmia.

Advertising and marketing. Fizulmia does not currently show ads. If we ever do, we will never target you based on dietary, allergy, medical or health information, and we will provide any opt-outs the law requires.

Security. Detect suspicious activity, protect accounts and enforce our Terms.

3. Information that may be collected

• IP address and approximate location
• Browser, device and operating system
• Language and screen settings
• Referring website, pages viewed and features used
• Timestamps and session information
• Account identifiers
• Technical and error diagnostics

Some of this may count as personal information under applicable law.

4. Extra care with sensitive information

Fizulmia may hold details that reveal diets, allergies, intolerances or household information. We aim to keep pantry contents, allergy details, health-related diets and family profiles out of analytics and advertising tools when they aren't needed. We can't guarantee every third-party tool classifies information the same way, so please avoid entering highly sensitive details a feature doesn't need.

5. First-party and third-party technologies

Some technologies are run directly by Fizulmia. Others come from providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, sign-in (Google, Apple, Microsoft), AI, email, security and support providers. They handle information under their own policies and our agreements with them, and we don't allow them to use Fizulmia user information for unrelated purposes, except as the law permits.

6. How long they last

Session technologies end when you close your browser. Persistent ones stay for a set time or until you delete them. Duration depends on the purpose and provider.

7. Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

• Reject optional cookies or withdraw consent
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
• Clear saved site data, such as your language choice
• Use privacy controls on your browser or device
• Use a recognized opt-out signal where the law applies

Blocking necessary technologies may stop parts of Fizulmia from working, such as staying signed in.

8. Global Privacy Control

Where the law requires us to treat a browser signal such as Global Privacy Control ("GPC") as an opt-out, we will honor it. Its effect depends on your location, the information involved and the activity it covers.

9. Do Not Track

There is no single accepted standard for "Do Not Track" signals, so we may not respond to them unless the law requires it. We will honor other legally required signals as described here and in our Privacy Policy.

10. Mobile apps

If Fizulmia offers mobile apps, they may use similar technologies such as SDKs, device identifiers, local storage and notification identifiers. Your phone's settings offer additional privacy controls.

11. Changes to these technologies

We may add, remove or change technologies as Fizulmia grows. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we'll update this notice, our Privacy Policy or our consent options as the law requires.

12. Third-party links and services

Fizulmia links to outside sites, such as recipe websites. Once you leave Fizulmia, that site's own tracking and privacy practices apply. We aren't responsible for third parties we don't control.
